Mother's Day Roses

​YWCA Toronto is a strong advocate for women and girls, providing transformative services in the areas of employment support and training, housing options and shelters, leadership development programs for girls and key supports for women and children who have experienced violence.

The money raised will go towards the renovation of their 1st Stop Woodlawn Women’s Shelter. This shelter is a residential community of women in Rosedale. This historic building provides 72 private rental rooms for long-term accommodation. The building also houses a shelter for women and transitional housing for women who require additional support.

Local businesses and organizations are joining together to raise funds to re-design a part of the grim, dysfunctional and outdated shared spaces at this location, to become more warm, inviting and suitable for the women’s use.
