What is it?
Scripture writing is literally copying down verses from the Bible, ideally by hand.

Why do it?
The intention is to slow down, think about and absorb the Bible verses as you write them. Writing them down can aid in remembering the verses too. It only takes a few minutes each day, but can help us engage in the Word in a different way.

How do I do it?
Get a pen and notepad, or digital tablet, and copy out the verse of the day. It’s that simple! We are currently using the verse of the day from YouVersion in the NLT version (scroll down on this page to see today's verse), but feel free to use whichever version you prefer!
