Welcome to Redeemer! We are a community that seeks to share Christ’s love with our neighbours through building relationships and living life together. We hope to provide a safe place where every person knows they belong in the family of Christ.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV)
We are far from perfect, but recognize that it’s God’s grace (and only His grace alone!) that saves and affirms us, and shapes us to be the merciful, truthful and purposeful people that He intended us to be.

Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN |
Jesus Creed:
Jesus answered, "The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, and while yes, most of us have a Chinese background, but we welcome all peoples from all ethnicity and denominations to fellowship with us.
