On 2015 July 15, Wednesday morning around 9:30, I was driving with my elder sister along the 404 Highway, heading south. While I was on the slower lane ready to change to the inner lane, I saw a black Corolla right behind my blind spot, so I turned the steering wheel back to my lane. But at that moment, my car lost control. The steering wheel continued spinning, the head tires were moving uncontrollably from left to right. I tried hard to control the steering wheel straight but couldn't. The car crossed the inner lane, the fast lane and the HOV lane, and finally into the ditch where many tall grasses grew. My car turned 180 degrees and came to a stop there.
The amazing thing was that neither of us were injured; only I felt some soreness on my lower back. Another car driver immediately came to help and the police also arrived within minutes. The ambulance staff said we were so lucky since we were not hit by the ongoing traffic, otherwise it would've been a big accident . While I stood at the site, I found that there was only our spot had the tall grasses; the others were cement wall or flat grass. I realized that God had used those tall grasses as a cushion to safely stop my car there. I can't imagine what would have happened if my car had crashed into a cement wall instead. God is such a wonderful savior. He has given me His salvation to save me from eternal death, and now He has saved me with His great protection and amazing care from bodily death. It is by God’s grace and mercy that I was able to escape from this car accident unscathed. Only God has the power to show such miracles to us. He knows that I still have unfinished work and responsibilities on this earth, so He allowed me to have more time to live. Praise the Lord for He has completely saved us spiritually and bodily. Glory to our God the highest. Amen. Psalms 139:13-14 For You formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother’s womb, I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well.
