If You Can Dream it, You Can Do it! - Thanksgiving Food Drive

Redeemer's 2018 Thanksgiving food drive is here!

If You Can Dream it, You Can Do it! is Redeemer’s 2018 Thanksgiving Food Drive! We will be collecting non-perishable items from now until October 7th 2018. Our goal this year is 500 cans.​

As with previous years, these cans will be donated to the Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) and will be distributed to those in the local community in need. To learn more about ACSA and their mission, please visit their website at agincourtcommunityservices.com.

Where to drop off your cans

You can bring cans to the CO this Saturday (October 6th) between 3-10pm, or to Epiphany on Sunday morning (October 7th).

Donation guidelines

Please consider giving foods that are healthy and that you would enjoy eating at home.

​Here are some suggested giving ideas:

• canned fish and meat
• canned or dried beans
• canned fruit (packed in water) and canned vegetables
• cereals and grains (e.g., whole grain cereal, oatmeal, rice, pasta)
• cooking oil
• healthy snacks and spreads (e.g., nuts, popcorn, granola bars, peanut / almond butter)
• baby products (e.g., baby formula, cereals, powdered milk)

For food safety reasons, we are unable to accept:

• rusty, dented, or unlabelled cans
• perishable or homemade items
• open or used items
• alcoholic beverages
• items close to or past their expiry date
