February 21, 2015: A Taste of What's to come!

On February 21, Challengers and TG were invited to bring nonperishable food items and hungry stomachs to fellowship. We were met with a twist when we realized dinner would be composed of the items we brought. There were worries of whether or not there would be enough food, and whether or not it would taste good ... We wondered, "What would it be like to be on the receiving end of our own giving?" But as God would have it, there was enough food, and we got a taste of God's provision instead. Huddled together with our food in Teresa's cozy living room, Sherie and Amanda shared about serving and loving the poor at different cafes in Hamilton and Guelph. With the Food Drive for Easter approaching, and loving the poor on our hearts, we got a taste of what's to come.
